No Mow May
We are letting the grass go uncut for the month of May to encourage pollinators and allow native creepy crawlies to feed and breed. The bees certainly love the dandelions. We need bees to pollinate our plants and caterpillars and insects are at the bottom of a long and important food chain. We are doing this at the suggestion of the Church’s Green Team. For more information see the sign on the second picture that shows a web site you can visit. The swallow on the bird house eat their share of the annoying flying insects this time of year. Everything has its season!
