A Community “Blue Christmas” Tree

Each Christmas season for the past several years we have had a Blue Christmas tree in the sanctuary. Blue ornaments are made available for those coming to services to hang on the tree in memory of a loved one who is no longer with us, and therefore is missed, particularly at this time of year, making for a Blue Christmas.

This year we will not be holding our Advent services inside, not even our wonderfully well-attended Christmas Eve services. An alternate plan for Christmas Eve has been made – our Christmas Eve Drive-Through Sight and Sound Experience!

Therefore we have put up our Blue Christmas tree outside, where it is available to all, not just those attending services. If you are feeling a bit blue this holiday season, we invite you to come and hang a blue ornament on the tree. Ornaments are available in the blue top container at the base of the tree. As you can see a few ornaments have already been hung.
