We gather to worship God on Sunday mornings at 10am with a traditional service, including communion on the first Sunday of each month. After the service we gather in the stone chapel next door for light refreshment and fellowship.
Occasionally we worship in the chapel or outdoors, sometimes on the Norfolk town green just across the street. In the summer we hold come-as-you-are early morning services (8am) around our Peace Pole at Battell Chapel or at beautiful, peaceful Tobey Pond.
We believe in extravagant welcome, and we welcome all to come join us and participate as you will. No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.
We believe that God is still speaking, and that we can hear and respond. We believe in the transformative power of love, that lives can be changed, and we are committed to justice for all.
Here you will witness faith and find love, joy, grace, forgiveness, peace and a sincere welcome.
From “Our Values and Goals“
We respond joyfully to our need to give thanks and praise to God.
We endeavor to expand the settings and styles of our worship, and to
celebrate the place that music holds in our encounter with the divine.
Joyful, joyful, we adore thee!
