Moses resists God at every turn because he thinks he’s not enough to do what God says. Put yourself in his shoes and try to understand his reluctance, to say the very least, at this charge of going to the king and demanding “Let my people go”.
What are you and I called to do? Where are we called to go? Into what situations of injustice are we tasked to be present, if not resistant, to the forces of oppression and evil in our world? Like Moses, we can feel like it’s just so much, it’s too much.
So I wanted to offer a little inspiration by way of tweaking the “Oh, The Things You Can Do” poem by Dr. Seuss.
