Our purpose is to follow Christ and to keep him at the center of our lives. We aspire to strengthen our identity as a home of extravagant welcome where friends and strangers alike encounter God’s love.
Together with Rev. Dr. Shelley Best, our friends at Redeemer’s AME Church in Plainville, and others our joint work to understand and eradicate racism will continue by reading and discussing “The New Jim Crow” on the issue of mass incarceration.
The Church's Annual Meeting is Tuesday October 5 at 5:30 PM. Please let Pastor Erick or the office know if you plan to attend, either in person in the chapel or via Zoom.
Study on Comparative Religions
We are beginning a new "Great Courses" study with Kelly Kandra Hughes - via zoom, beginning Monday evening, September 28 and continuing into December. It is not necessary to join all sessions, but come when you can and join the discussion. You can email Kelly for the zoom link at email@example.com
Saving The Steeple
Much work has been accomplished to reinforce the steeple base with a steel cradle. A concrete pad has been constructed on the ground where the steeple will sit while repairs continue. The steeple should be coming down soon!
